Chef Ika runs a street food kitchen in Antwerp built around one thing: hummus. We were invited to tell his story through a short film.
His culinary journey spans influences from around the world. In 2002, he and his wife Molly opened Lamalo — a Gault-Millau and Michelin-rated restaurant known for high-quality Middle Eastern cuisine with a modern twist.
In 2020, they launched Shuk, bringing the bold flavors and energy of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem’s street markets to the heart of Antwerp.
